Hello all! Today marks the first day of summer that my daughter doesn’t have school, so we’re excited over here. No racing out the door, trying to get kids dressed and ready, breakfast in them, doing my best to stay patient, and oh- where are your shoes? Yes, I’ve totally done that- it’s usually my 3 year old that ends up with no shoes on. Oh well, such is life, right?
We did have our first swim practice today, and it was super fun. We’re looking forward to this summer, and we have lots of fun things planned- from swimming, to the water park, to summer movies at the theater, and little trips up North in between. It should be fun!
Well, let’s get to the whole point of Meal Idea Monday, shall we? I found today’s recipe idea on the always amazing Pioneer Woman’s Tasty Kitchen: Creamy Caprese Pasta. Just listen to the description, “Whole wheat pasta laced with basil ribbons, cherry tomatoes and fresh mozzarella.” Doesn’t that sound incredible?!
